I love a good story. A good story can stop me in my tracks.
At the heart of it, I simply love learning—about people, where they’ve been, the expertise and experiences they carry, and the ideas they are working to bring into the world. People are fascinating. I’m also drawn to the interconnectivity of things: people, nature, culture, ideas, environment, color, pattern, and design. The way everything influences everything else has always been deeply interesting to me.
For me, it always comes back to design and communication. Expressing ideas clearly and meaningfully is my passion. Over the years, my career has naturally blended several areas of interest—graphic design, science, education, and public health—into work that helps organizations communicate complex ideas in ways people can understand and act on.
I am a visual storyteller by trade. Whether through a comprehensive branded campaign, an animated video, an illustration, a script, a thoughtfully designed report, or a well-curated video set, I enjoy helping people translate their work into something clear, engaging, and accessible. I design solutions that help others share their knowledge, research, and mission with a broader audience.
Much of my work involves collaborating with researchers, program leaders, nonprofits, and community organizations to synthesize complex information and transform it into practical communication tools. I enjoy the process of listening carefully, understanding the goals of a project, and then designing materials that help programs move forward, whether that means educational resources, visual reports, multimedia storytelling, or strategic communication assets.
My background in biology, science education, graphic design, and public health allows me to approach projects from both a systems and communication perspective. I’m particularly drawn to work that involves health, environment, research, and community-based initiatives.
At the end of the day, I simply enjoy helping good work reach the people it’s meant to serve.
If you’re working on a project that involves complex ideas, research, or community-focused initiatives and need help translating that work into clear, engaging visual communication, I’d love to hear about it.
